The power has been out since 4AM but is due back soon. While I have one of the new Swtches with excellent battery life, playing it all day had finally taken it’s toll. Enter spare battery.
This is the battery I pulled from the Jag but was too good to turn in as a core so... Now it is being a semi-mobile charger. It has been on a charger, so I’m not worried about a couple of phones and a switch bringing it down.
Yes I have some USB batteries but I’d rather save them for tonight in case the power doesn’t come back.

Nicely done!
In extended power outages I've used my car as a portable battery, also it has air conditioning.

I have a 3 kw inverter and a couple of batteries in my e38. It’s basically just a storage locker/generator at this point.

Looks like a standard 12v outlet wired to the battery, with a 12v to USB adapter

I’m amazed at how much the Switch looks like a futuristic Game Gear.

Haha I think the aftermarket controllers certainly add to that, but yeah.

It is just an SAE to cigarette lighter thingy. I have a lot of the SAE clamps around because of all the battery tenders, so it seemed like a handy thing to have. And it was!
